Free Computer Workshops at Lincoln Library

Lincoln Library offers the following free, one-session, hands-on computer workshops. Preregistration is required.  All classes except Getting to Know Your Computer are 2 hours long.  Because of space limitations, participants may attend only two workshops per month. If fewer than 3 people are signed up for a class, Lincoln Library reserves the right to cancel the class 24 hours in advance.

Classes are held in the training room on the third floor of the main library at 326 S. 7th St.  When you arrive, go to the Periodicals desk on the third floor.

Parking is available underneath the library for 25¢/half-hour. Parking is free evenings after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Access to the ramp is from 7th St. between the library and the municipal building. Many on-street parking spots are limited to 2 hours which doesn’t give enough time to park and attend a class. On-street parking is also free on evenings and Saturdays.

The training room is often warm. Dressing in layers is advised.

For more information or to register for one of the sessions, call Ann at 753-4900, extension 227.
