Lincoln Library has access to eBook, eAudiobook, music, and video downloads from Library On The Go (OverDrive). Only direct cardholders of participating libraries may use this service. Note that new library cardholders might need to wait a couple of weeks for the library card to be added to the OverDrive database.

Lincoln Library offers electronic access to audiobook titles that can be downloaded to MP3 players and iPods. All titles are iPod-compatible. This service is available only to Lincoln Library cardholders through Recorded Books. Customers can download audiobooks at home onto their own portable players for a period of 1-21 days.

To get started, use your Lincoln Library card to set up a new account. This can be done at home. Then download the OneClick digital media download software. Find an audiobook, download it, and transfer to a device, or just listen to it on your computer.

EBSCOhost eBooks

This is a collection of mostly nonfiction online books to read or browse. It is possible to browse by subject category. Just click the eBooks link at the top left of the screen. Note that these titles cannot be transferred to portable devices, but they can be accessed by portable devices with Internet connections. Home access is now by Lincoln Library card number.
