Lincoln Library and Brookens Library at The University of Illinois at Springfield have entered into a reciprocal borrowing agreement designed to enhance library services to the entire community.

Under the terms of the agreement, signed by Mayor Karen Hasara and Chancellor Richard Ringeisen, both Lincoln Library patrons and members of the UIS community will have greater access to the resources of either institution. All current UIS students, faculty, and staff will be able to check out materials at Lincoln Library, and patrons of the city library will have similar privileges at Brookens.
