Make a free appointment to talk to a Community Navigator by video (Zoom) or phone! 

Learn about the law, your legal rights, and how to go to court.

The ILAO Navigator will:

  • Help you search online for answers to your legal questions,such as: divorce, child support, eviction, foreclosure, security deposits, bankruptcy, Powers of Attorney, public benefits, criminal records, and your rights in police encounters (see IllinoisLegalAid.org for more)
  • Show you how to find and fill in court forms
  • Give you a legal referral, if available.
