Print, Scan & Fax

Printing is available from the library’s public computers. Black and white prints are free, though we do suggest a 10 cent per page donation for print jobs greater than 50 pages. Color printing is 25 cents per page. Wireless printing is available in the library or from home at the same prices. There are three ways to print wirelessly:

By sending an email:

Email the document you would like printed to: AskLincolnLibrary@gmail.com

Visit the Reference Desk on the second floor and staff will print your items. Call 217-753-4900 extension 5630 for questions about printing

From your device using the app:

  1. Download the PrinterOn App
  2. Once in the app, search for “Lincoln Library”
  3. Select “black and white” or “color” printer by clicking the “i” icon, then click the star to save (to add the other printer: hit the back button, select the other printer and click the star to save)
  4. Locate what you would like to print and enter your email address
  5. Use your email address to retrieve your documents at the print release station near the second floor public computers

From your laptop/computer using the web portal:

  1. Visit our Web Portal
  2. Select printer (black and white or color), enter your email address, and select the file you wish to print
  3. Use your email address to retrieve your documents at the print release station near the second floor public computers

Photocopiers for public use are available on every floor of the library. Black and white copies are free, though we do suggest a 10 cent per page donation for jobs greater than 50 pages. Color copies are 25 cents per page

Scan to an email address or USB drive at any photocopier for free.

Send or receive faxes at no charge. The copier on the first floor near the Borrower Services Desk has faxing capabilities.
