How to Contribute to the Community Cookbook
Let's bring in 2026 with a collection of new recipes to try - all from our neighbors' kitchens.
Lincoln Library is compiling a community cookbook in hopes of building connection through recipe sharing. Community can be built through food, and recipes can be windows to more deeply understanding one another and our history.
Share your recipe by filling out the form by January 31, 2026.
The Fine Print
- One submission per person is permitted.
- Recipes must be original or attribution to the creator must be given.
For example: The recipe is inspired by Nisha Vora's Breakfast Cookies - Each contributor will receive one physical copy of the cookbook. A digital copy will be available to access on the Library's website, and a physical copy will be available to browse in the Sangamon Valley Collection.
