Adult Summer Reading

How it works:

  1. Sign up using our Reader Zone app and earn a Lincoln Library branded pint glass.
  2. Log 2 books and attend 1 program for a chance to win one of four $50 gift certificates or for one lucky reader, a $200 Titan Games gift card!

Local Fiction Author Summer Reading Challenge

The Sangamon County area is fortunate to have a plethora of talented authors and the annual Local Author Fiction Challenge helps to bring exposure to their important works. Find local authors by searching "Springfield & Sangamon Valley Authors" in the library catalog.

How it works:

  1. Read a fiction book by a local author and enter the raffle for a $25 Downtown Springfield Gift Card to be awarded at the end of Summer Reading. Get your raffle tickets at the 3rd Floor Readers Services Desk.
  2. One raffle ticket per book, and each book logged will be a chance in the final drawing, which takes place Friday, August 1st.
