UIS Brookens Library Partnership

Lincoln Library and Brookens Library at The University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) have a reciprocal borrowing agreement designed to enhance library services to the entire community.

Under the terms of the agreement, both Lincoln Library customers and members of the UIS community have greater access to the resources of either institution. All current UIS students, faculty, and staff can check out materials at Lincoln Library, and Lincoln Library patrons have similar privileges at Brookens.

• Lincoln Library patrons 18 and older who have a valid Lincoln Library card are eligible to use Brookens Library.
• The reciprocal agreement does not grant access to the online resources or interlibrary loan services of Brookens.
• Items checked out from Brookens Library are subject to all applicable Brookens policies, including loan periods, renewals, fines, and fees.

To request access to the Brookens Library, fill out the online form. Brookens Library staff will email you when your request has been processed.
