Event Details
Find your next read and spend some time with others looking to do the same at our Book Tasting event.
Think wine tasting, but with books instead of booze.
Our chefs (librarians) have curated four Tasting Menus, each with a list of books connected to their menu’s course (genre). You will have the opportunity to sample each menu, take notes, chat with others about the offerings, and check out the available items.
Our Tasting Menus include:
Amuse-bouche: Books under 200 pages
Fusion: Genre mashups
International fare: Translated works or books written by authors from outside of the U.S.
Dessert: Romance
This event is for adults, and a reservation (registration) is required. Pack up your library card and desire to connect with your next favorite read - we look forward to seeing you at the Book Tasting!
Please note:
Chocolate candies will be provided for participants to enjoy. Due to the nature of the program and the handling of books by participants, food beyond a modest, sweet treat will not be offered.
Drinks will be available for purchase at Trish and Mary’s Pub which is located down the hall from the event space.
There is free parking at the location.
