Talk about a topic with community members and experts.
Join us this summer as we take a closer look at the First Amendment, beginning with the very first freedom: religion.

The First Amendment has two provisions concerning religion: the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause. We'll examine each of these and try to determine what they mean. Their meaning has been fluid throughout our history. In fact, the current Supreme Court is considering their meaning once again as it pertains to religion in public schools.
We'll try and put ourselves in their shoes.
