The Library will close at 5pm on Wednesday, November 26th and remain closed Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. Remember, our online resources are always available! 

Mobile DMV Pop-Up for City of Springfield Employees

Purpose of Meeting

On July 18th, the Lincoln Library will be hosting a Mobile DMV Pop-Up from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. This event will allow for City Employees to receive specific services provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.  Please see attached documents that outline the services provided and, more importantly, the necessary documentation you need to provide for the service to be fully complete.

Not a city employee? No problem! Stay tuned for a public version of this mobile DMV pop-up at Lincoln later this year.

For current City of Springfield employees (and their spouses/dependents) 

The services provided:

  • Driver’s License and State ID Cards (First-time issuance, Renewals, Duplicates, and Corrections)
  • REAL ID
  • Vehicle Registration/License Plate Stickers

Additionally, this event does require you to sign up ahead of time. There will be 50 open time slots available, and no additional slots will be issued once those are reserved.
