Purpose of Meeting
We plan to show the film, Living and Dying: A Love Story,,, that is available on YouTube. This documentary style film about an elderly dying couple that utilized the State of Oregon's Death With Dignity option together.
After the film, we hope to engage the attendees in discussion about the film, Compassion & Choices education programs around End-of-Life Care and Planning, and our group's advocacy for an Illinois law that would allow for Medical Aid in Dying.
