Final Account Film Showing

For International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Library will be showing the 2020 documentary "Final Account". This film features interviews with dozens of Germans who are part of the last-living generation to have lived and worked in the Third Reich--and who were in many cases complicit with atrocities carried out by the Nazi regime. Following the showing, we will be discussing the film and the questions it raises about what causes ordinary people to become collaborators and perpetrators.
