The Library will be closed Friday, April 3rd and Sunday, April 5th in observance of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We will be OPEN Saturday, April 4th. Remember, our online resources are always available!

The Springfield City Council passed an ordinance on February 1, 1886 establishing the Springfield Public Library.

Join us in celebrating 140 years of being Springfield's public library! We will have cake, a slideshow, and opening the 1976 library time capsule.
