Spinetinglers Horror Book Club

The Spinetinglers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month for discussion of a different horror book. If you're a fan of ghosts, vampires, or other spooks and ghouls, this book club is for you!

This month's selection is Our Winter Monster by Dennis Mahoney. Holly and Brian race through a blizzard, hoping a ski-village getaway will save their strained relationship, until they lose control of the car... and lose each other in the storm. Something monstrous stalks them in the whiteout, leaving a trail of wreckage and bodies, and echoing a trauma they suffered last winter. Sheriff Kendra Book pursues them, too, determined to end the chaos and overcome a terrible, guilty secret. After a year of private pain, Holly and Brian's only hope is surviving the night together. Because the storm is getting worse, there really is a monster, and the danger is more personal than anyone expects.
