Enjoy a local expert discussing a topic of interest.

This Pride Month, join us at Lincoln Library for a free walking tour of historic LGBTQ+ sites in Downtown Springfield. From Ethel Mars to Smokey’s Den to The Prairie Flame to PrideFest, we have a lot to be proud of. Come see Springfield through rainbow-colored glasses!

The total distance will be a little under 2 miles, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. There will be a few opportunities to take a short rest and water break, but the walk will last between an hour and 90 minutes total. Questions are encouraged.

Meet in the library atrium at the starting time. We will not cancel if there is light rain, but we will cancel if there is heavy rain or storms. Keep an eye out for an email in case of inclement weather!

Registration is required for this event, but it will be offered multiple times. We will also have an indoor, seated presentation of the same content at the end of the month (see "We've Always Been Here").
