The collection is composed of items related to Dora Davis Armbruster’s (1880-1962) First Christian Church involvement, including Sunday School lessons, book reviews, Women’s Council items and Pensee Class lessons; a journal; speeches and letters; papers related to Dora’s European trip; photos and greeting cards; high school memorabilia relating to Dora’s son, Harry Armbruster; and other miscellaneous items. Dora was born in Petersburg and moved to Springfield during her childhood.
Library Closed Due to Inclement Weather
The library will be closed today, Saturday, December 13th due to the declared snow emergency. The Lincoln Library Alliance Book Sale scheduled for today has been postponed.
