The Literary Tea Club started in 1927 in Springfield and met every other week usually in a member’s home to have a book review given by a member. The last mention in the State Journal-Register of the club meeting was in 1986. The collection consists of nine notebooks with member information, meeting minutes, and newspaper clippings dating from 1932-1979.
