Tuesday Club Collection

The Tuesday Club started in 1925 in Springfield, Illinois. It was a women’s club that met monthly for a luncheon (later just dessert) and book review. Members would take turns as hostess and book reviewer. The last mention of it in the State Journal-Register was in 1982.

The collection includes bylaws, membership booklets 1965-1980, correspondence 1960s-1970s, meeting minutes 1970-1981, membership and program information 1956-1957.
