The Pondicherry Lodge chapter of the Baker Street Irregulars was created in Springfield in 1947 and met for a few years then the club went dormant in 1949. Glen Milner revived the organization in Springfield in 1989. The group has been referred to as the Pondicherry Chapter of the Baker Street Irregulars, Springfield’s Sherlock Holmes appreciation society, the Sherlock Holmes Society. The group’s members are Sherlock Holmes enthusiasts.
The collection includes Pondicherry Lodge meeting minutes 1994-continuing, quizzes and puzzles, membership rosters, articles about the organization, articles related to Sherlock Holmes, and chapter correspondence. The scope is 1989-continuing.
